Darien, Upper Crust Bagel & Deli (UCBD) has been a local
favorite since it opened in 1997. UCBD serves breakfast
and lunch daily with a full menu including bagels and
muffins, specialty sandwiches and salads, and a wide
selection of beverages – from coffee and hot chocolate
to juices, sodas and iced tea products. UCBD bagels are
so good, that they have earned “Best of the Gold Coast”
ever since the award was created in 2004.
Upper Crust always uses
the freshest ingredients, offering a variety of choices,
and providing customers with a clean and pleasing
environment along with friendly and courteous service.
The shop serves the needs of individuals, families and
area businesses for walk-in (and eat-in) business as
well as special breakfast and lunch platters that are
available for delivery.
Upper Crust also believes
that being a local business, it is important to give
back. Therefore, the store has been a strong supporter
of the Darien community – from sponsoring Pop Warner and
Little League teams to donating food to area schools,
organizations and fundraisers. A walk through UCBD and
anyone can see the dozens of thank-you notes and family
photos that line the walls.

Monday-Saturday and 6:30-3:30 Sunday.
